The Novi Ligure Massacre

In 2001, the people of Novi Ligure, Italy, were left terrified after the brutal murders of 41 year old Susy Cassini and her 11 year old son, GianLuca De Nardo. Under the false assumption that immigrants were responsible for the gruesome killings, the community started a race war – particularly over Albanian immigrants, organizing protests and rallies to encourage the government to crack down on the recent surge of immigrants to Italy.

But the truth about what really happened would soon come out. And it had nothing to do with foreign nationals. In fact, the real story was much more horrifying than one could ever imagine.
